Deborah Eivers joined the Goodwin team in September 2018 as the Village Manager for Farrer Village.
Deborah has extensive experience in the retirement living sector as a village manager and a property manager. Prior to this, she was the Queensland State Corporate Operations Manager for Gloria Jeans.
Still a coffee lover and now an adopted Canberran, Deborah is looking forward getting to know the current residents, welcoming the new residents and building a wonderful community at Farrer Village.
“I love being able to walk around the village and get greeted by residents who are all genuinely happy to see me! Nothing gives me more of a buzz than making a difference in people’s lives. Village management can be extremely rewarding. I cannot imagine doing anything else. It’s a wonderful job”.
Things to know about Deborah? She was born and raised in Jervis Bay, has recently moved from the Gold Coast (during Canberra winter!) and is a crazy St Kilda AFL supporter.
Deborah will work alongside Bob Newport, Village Manager of Monash, Fiona Nilsson, Village Manager of The Central and David Hull, Village Manager at Ainslie.
