It’s official - the ribbon has been cut! ✂️✨
Today marked a truly special milestone for the inner-north as we officially opened the doors to Goodwin Village Downer. We were absolutely delighted to have ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA join the celebration, alongside ACT Minister for Health Rachel Stephen-Smith MLA, who performed the ceremonial ribbon cutting with CHC CEO Nathan Dal Bon, Goodwin Board Chair Fiona Jolly, Goodwin CEO Stephen Holmes and first Downer residents Chris & Angelika.
Located on Melba Street, this beautiful new community features:

📌 20 boutique serviced apartments offering that little bit of extra daily support.
📌 A heritage-inspired design featuring deep red and dark grey terracotta façades that pay homage to the classic 1960s character of the inner-north.

Absolutely blown away by the incredible turnout today for Goodwin Village Downer Open Day.
More than 500 people stepped through our doors to explore our newest retirement living community. A huge thank you to everyone who visited, our incredible staff, and our wonderful resident volunteers who helped make the day such a success. We loved sharing what the #GoodwinLife is all about.
