Christmas Message from the CEO


Dear staff, volunteers, residents and clients,

With the holidays upon us, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all Goodwin employees, volunteers, residents and clients for your ongoing support and the contributions you have made to Goodwin in the past year.

It has been another successful year of providing services to our customers with the highest commitment to quality of care, innovation and excellence. Our performance over the past 12-months reflects the quality of our services, the strength of our workforce and our processes, and our continued focus on providing more options to seniors through additional services and flexible accommodation options.

To all employees, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your individual roles and to the organisation. I am proud to be leading a workforce that is committed to ensuring our Vision Mission and Values remain the foundation of every working day. It is your passion to serve that gives Goodwin its valued reputation as a provider of high quality aged care services. It is your dedication and commitment that makes the difference in our residents and clients lives every day.

To our volunteers, thank you for dedicating your personal time to work with Goodwin and providing an array of activities for all our residents to enjoy.  During this season, we take time to reflect on the good things we have…like our ongoing partnership with you. We enjoy working with you and hope the holidays and the coming year will bring you happiness and joy.

To our residents, it has been wonderful to see each community continue to grow throughout the year. At this special time of the year, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and those who have helped to shape the services we provide. We extend our heartfelt thanks to you and your families for placing your trust in Goodwin and we wish you all the best as we embark into 2019.

To our community and home clients, we thank you and your families for choosing Goodwin as your partner in care. Your comfort and wellbeing mean the world to us and we will continue to work with you in providing the services you need that will enable you to remain cared for in your own homes.

I would like to extend a special thank you to each of the resident and social committee members across our villages who dedicate their time to improve the communities they live in. We started 2018 with renewed understanding, transparency and commitment that has helped us improve the way we operate our villages and deliver our services to you. We appreciate the contributions that you have made throughout the past year and it is in this spirit that we say thank you and best wishes.
