Industry placement is part of a training scheme where a student attends work for the purpose of receiving practical training and experience as part of a formal training curriculum. Industry placements are arranged through a training organisation as part of course requirements.
These placements assign students to one of our workplaces so that students can gain employment experience in providing personal care, working in our hospitality area, providing clinical support, or working in the administration area of Goodwin. Work placements are arranged in conjunction with educational institutions as part of an approved curriculum of study. Goodwin provides an orientation program and guides students through their learning outcomes.
